Project 25

Freedom of speech has taken the transformation from being a luxurious good for trade to being a birthright. If you are reading this, it is probably by the virtue of others who have fought for it and made sure your voice would not go unheard.

Censorship still exists in forms or can be felt in parts on the terrestrial terrain of planet earth but what is not completely extraterrestrial is the ability to expressing opinions without having to face the wrath of a million or be berated and shamed by a million more.

The closest to having an unabashed voice is that of a camera; an innate ability to break the reality to the world. It is the foundation and precursor to being informed and making one's individual voice heard.

As Nawang Sherpa nonchalantly mentioned,"... had it not been for the Khumjung school, a lot of the Khumbu families could not have dreamt of a future as stupendous and mighty as the Himalayan peak they grow up seeing everyday of their lives"

Touchdown is my voice and as a part of Project 25, I would like to express my pledge of support to the local school in Khumjung and actively involve with local grassroots community to do my fair share.
